We here at SUMS hope you've all enjoyed your holiday and are looking forward to the new semester! Rehearsals will begin again this Wednesday 27th July in Bosch Lecture Theatre 4 but come along early at 5pm for our FREE welcome back BBQ.
We are happy to announce that our main piece for this semester will be the Duruflé Requiem. This beautiful piece was written in 1947 in memory of the composer's father.
Hope to see you all on Wednesday to get stuck into some quality music! |

Thanks to all who came along to our welcome BBQ and rehearsal - it was fantastic to see so many new faces, and already an amazing sound!
Next Wednesday's rehearsal will see the rest of our more experienced members returning to us to begin our work on our May concert repertoire - Rutter's Requiem and Haydn's Little Organ Mass.
Our next social event coming up will be the Trivia Night - stay tuned for more announcements to come!

Welcome and welcome back to all our SUMSters in 2011! This year is looking to be a fantastic one with some great concerts lined up and exciting social events already being planned!
O Week 2011 went wonderfully with many new members signing up and many old members coming by to join and say hello. Our Main Stage performance on Wednesday went wonderfully and a small crowd gathered to watch.
